Music Video Genre

Music Video
There are many different genre's of music videos depending on who the artist is, for example theres rock music, Pop music, Country music and indie music.

The genre rock music genre tends to consist of loud and screamo music to represent that the artists in this genre are different from everyone else and then they tend to get a rebellious status because of their music. The cons of doing a Rock music video would be that it might be difficult to find the right place to film the rock video to se the theme and genre of this music video, as well with making people look like there in a rock music video.

The genre Pop music tends to consist of upbeat and happy music as its aimed mostly at young teenagers  who enjoy that sort of music. The pros of doing pop music video is that it wouldn't be hard to find someone where to film to fit the mood of the music, be easier to create a story to the music video since its so upbeat and happy. The cons of doing a pop music video is that

The genre country music is mostly people singing with an instrument as presented and shown in many country songs, the most common is a guitar to give the cowboy living on the ranch mood to the music.
The pros of doing a country music video is that you can create a story to the music easier instead of filming someone mouthing the words. The cons would be possibly finding someone who could mouth the words and play guitar at the same time or another instrument to fit within the context of the song.

The genre of Indie music is independent music which is usually produced from major commercial labels , a process that may include a do-it-yourself approach to recording and publishing. The pros of doing an indie song for a music video are that it would probably be easier to ask the music company permission to use the song as it will be smaller than most companies considerings its independent. The cons would be that if its a do-it-yourself record and publish song then the quality of the song may be poor.
